Alloa and Lornshill Make It Happen Fund

The Grassroots Make It Happen Fund (MIHF) is run by local people for local people. The aim is to support and encourage local groups, by offering funding to them to support projects and initiatives that create positive change within their communities.

The money comes from the What Matters to You Make It Happen Fund for the High School catchment area of Alloa and Lornshill within Clackmannanshire. We have £20,000 available from this grants programme with £10,000 for the area of Alloa and £10,000 for the area of Lornshill. The grants are administered by Corra, who are supporting the running of the fund.

The Grassroots Make It Happen Fund is run by a group of local people recruited from the areas of Alloa and Lornshill who have together designed, developed and are the community voices that make decisions on the funding distributed by What Matters to You via The Corra Foundation.

The Grassroots Make It Happen Fund is open to applications that benefit children, young people, families, parents, and carers:

•    To improve the wellbeing of children, young people, families, parents and their carers’.
•    To improve and support the ambitions of the community.
•    To put the feel-good factor back into communities.
