East End Make It Happen Fund

The East End Make It Happen Fund (MIHF) is run by local people for local people. The aim is to support and encourage local groups, by offering funding to them to support projects and initiatives that create positive change within their communities.

The money comes from the What Matters to You Make It Happen Fund in the East End ward. We have £30,000 available from this grants programme. The grants are administered by Corra, who are supporting the running of the fund.

We will beginning to work with parents from the communities in the East End Ward in late May and June to support them to develop the grant criteria and process that they feel is best for their community.

Proposed dates for the training of the East End Panel are as follows with venue details to be confirmed in due course:

  • Tuesday 27th May,                         0930/1200
  • Tuesday 3rd June,                           0930/1200
  • Tuesday 17th June,                         0930/1200
  • Wednesday 25th June                    0930/1200
