Jane Carter

Clackmannanshire: Jane Carter

Jane first began to work with parents and their children over 36 years ago in residential childcare and then in communities.

In the recent years Jane worked for the Lilias Graham Trust a residential third sector organisation in Stirlingshire which provided an opportunity for vulnerable families in Scotland to be together safely. During this time Jane delivered trauma informed bespoke therapeutic services, parental support, and assessment. In the last two years Jane was CEO of the Trust, collaborating with Local Authorities, Trusts and third sector organisations to address child poverty, promote family resilience and sustain change in communities.

Jane is enthusiastic about spending time with and learning from people about what matters to them, to bring about change to the quality of individuals and communities’ day to day lived experiences in order that children grow and thrive within their family.
