COSLA Excellence Awards
Congratulations to Dundee City Council on winning the Strengthening Communities & Local Democracy award at the recent COSLA Excellence Awards in recognition of their work with What Matters 2 You to transform conditions to deliver whole system, place-based approaches which put local people at the front and centre of everything they do.
Strengthening Communities & Local Democracy is all about supporting the people in our communities to be part of local decision-making and local change.
This award emonstrated how Dundee City Council is supporting, engaging and encouraging local people to participate locally in their community, with the democratic process and with activities which contribute to the wellbeing of people in their area.
