Kinship Care in Dundee
WM2U is delighted to be working in partnership with Dundee City Council Kinship Team and recently had the opportunity to invite along Kinship Carers from WM2U 'Kirkton Family Sessions' and 'Charleston Wee Night In'.
It was a great opportunity for the carers to share their experiences to benefit others and to learn from some of the partner organisations at the event. There is no stronger a voice than one with lived experience to tell their story - great to have some of our WM2U familes along sharing their stories with others.
We are looking forward to our next event in partnership with the Dundee Kinship Teamwhen we will be involved in their Kinship Summer Picnic at Baxter Park on 4th July between 1130am and 1.30pm when there will be actvities for all the family providde by Scrap Antics and Dundee Active Schools.
