A group of mothers have joined forces to help transform lives in their local community in Dundee.
The ‘Wee Night In’ at St Mary’s Community Centre in Charleston encourages local families to come together after school on a Monday night each week.
Supported by What Matters to You in partnership with Dundee City Council Community Empowerment Team, the group is now self-sustaining.
This community group has given mums the chance to have a chat and spend quality time together while also teaching their kids new skills, such as making pizza.
The group meet every Monday after school for around two hours, and they hope to organise more opportunities for the rest of the community.
The aim for the group is to move to their own space and create other groups.
